Sun Shields
Kennon's Sun Shields are well known and respected in the aviation industry. Manufactured using state of the art material and designed to press fit into the window moldings without scratching, our shields are easily installed and removed. No suction cups are needed to keep our panels in place. With a reflection value between 93-94%, our sun shields will provide years of sun protection and privacy for your aircraft. Each set is custom made including a strap to hold the panels together and a nylon storage bag to keep your sun shields clean and free from damage when not in use.
Our custom-made sun shield sets are now built using a new material that is a more ductile and lighter weight material than our classic material. It offers the same UV radiation protection, is thinner with a more complex, closed-cell, polyethylene insulation system. It is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and utilizes a greener manufacturing process. We occasionally have our classic material in stock, so check with us if you prefer that.
We do not recommend use of our sun shields with polarized windows.
